The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- Western Region Chapter conducted a seminar entitled “Video Surveillance and Security Systems” & “Access Control & Biometrics” to commence its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity for year 2016.
The seminar was held on 11th of March at La Parilla Restaurant, Jeddah KSA and successfully attended by 57 participants. The program precede with the invocation of Mr. Rafael B. Ramirez followed by the welcome address of IECEP-KSA-WRC 2016 President Engr. Jan Faraj Sulaiman J. Haddad before introducing of the speaker for “Video Surveillance and Security Systems” & “Access Control & Biometrics” Engr. Leonil C. Cagcon
The 1st part of the seminar was theory and concepts, Pros and Cons, and live demo of Video Surveillance and Security Systems. Engr. Leonil Cagcon explained and executed it very well as he elaborated and displayed his capabilities & familiarities on the subject matter.
After the 1st part of the seminar, an hour break was given to the participants to fill their stomach with buffet lunch that was served at the venue and the oath taking of IECEP KSA WRC officers 2016 was also conducted during the break time of the event.
The 2nd part of his seminar was Access Control & Biometrics. He prepared an equipment demo and ensured that every attendees understands its operations.
The speaker display his mastery on the subject and he was able to answer questions from participants in plain and simple manner.
The IECEP officers carried out their specific roles which resulted in the smooth flow throughout the event. The 1st Technical Seminar for 2016 was concluded, and plaques & certificates of appreciation to the resource speaker and attendees were given respectively, and photos of the activity were taken.
