The first outreach of IECEP-WRC KSA extend their efforts to travel at AL BAHA in the southern province of Saudi Arabia, to meet and gather fellow ECE professionals. Our mission was to have an IECEP-SRC (Southern Region Chapter) and integrate members in southern province.
We travel 409km away from Jeddah and reach the place around 10 am. At Pizza hut restaurant where we meet fellow IECEP-WRC members from Taif and Al Baha. There are 5 of them from south and 6 of us from IECEP-WRC attended. Before our agenda meeting started, we ate first our lunch meal.
Right after the meal, Engr. Lambert Reyes Jr. (IECEP-WRC President) requested everyone to introduce our work environment. Furthermore, he discuss the achievements of IECEP-WRC in the past years on how it begun. The CPD guidelines and implementation of RA 9292 on 45 CPD (ECE), 30 CPD (ECT) for 3 years. IECEP-WRC KSA aimed for 52 CPD units on its Technical Seminar until December 2017. He mention the PRC license renewal on different Professional field. On January 2019 ECE board of directors are planning for the implementation of new CPD direction of 60 credit units for 3 years. We discuss to them about professional registry upgrades of PECE, ASEAN Engineering, ACPE, APEC. Eight (8) aspirant of IECEP- WRC started the Associate ASEAN Engineering upgrade registry last April 2017.
We are proud to present our 4 ECT passers of Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) conducted at Sept. 1-3, 2017 @ Iban Sena College, Jeddah. Looking forward for more ECE and ECT passers in 2018. The membership updates of IECEP-WRC increased from 2016 to 2017 active professionals. Meetings and social activities of IECE-WRC has been discussed where 7 participated the 4th GCC Summit, Dubai UAE.
The IECEP- WRC discussed its partnership with PPO (Philippine Professional Organization, Jeddah) conducted its community service for distressed OFW’s in Saudi Oger. Moreover, information to them about the upcoming activities scheduled of 67th ACM IECEP National Live Streaming with PECE/ASEAN write shop on Nov. 24, 2017, the Annual General Assembly of IECEP KSA WRC with HVAC BMS Seminar on Dec. 8, 2017 and the year-end party on Dec. 29, 2017.
Our agenda meeting ended around 3pm and a group picture for our first outreach trip. We are looking forward to gain more members in the Southern Region and sooner or later to established their KSA-SRC chapter.
