Inside Plant System

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines Inc. – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Western Region Chapter conducted its first technical seminar titled Inside Plant System on April 14, 2017 at La Parilla Restaurant, Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia. The event was attended by forty-one Electronics Professionals from various parts of the Western Region, such as Jeddah, Makkah, Taif and Yanbu. It started at 8 am in the morning, where the respected speaker was Engr. James Sumagaysay. He is currently employed at ICAD as Coordination Manager/ Technical Manager.

Engr. James Sumagaysay started the discussion about Inside Plant System, he discussed the technology infrastructure design and installation of structured inside plant cabling, security/access control, A/V, and DAS/cellular systems. The bottom line of the topic was optimizing physical layer networks and telecommunications systems.

Around 11am, a privilege speech was given to the President of Philippine Professionals Organization, Mrs. Veronica Filipinas, RN, MAN, MBA. She is our special guest invited to conduct an Oath taking ceremony for the new IECEP-WRSA OFFICERS 2017. Right after the Oath Taking we had our lunch buffet.

At 12:30 pm, Engr. Lambert Reyes (IECEP KSA WRC Chapter President 2017) presented about Professional Upgrades (PECE, ASEAN, APEC, ACPE), he discussed various application services, and the country covered on each Professional upgrade economy, earned CPD points qualifications. The advantage and disadvantages of professional upgrades.

He also mentioned the upcoming UAE Dubai convention on the 1st week of September 2017, which will conduct an interview for Professional Electronics and Communication Engineer (PECE).

Engr.Jan Faraj Hadad (IECEP KSA WRC Chapter President 2016 advisor) also add some important points and reminders about professional upgrades. Furthermore, after the presentation and discussion, Engr. James continue the seminar.

At 4pm in the afternoon, it ends the Technical Seminar, a distribution of certificates and plaque to Engr. James Sumagaysay, followed by the attendees of the seminar participated.
