The 2nd Annual General Assembly and 7th Technical Seminar of IECEP- WRC Jeddah Saudi Arabia December 8, 2017 at Sky lounge restaurant, 3rd Floor Agave Building, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Street, Al Khaliyah, JeddaH KSA, attended by thirty five (35) Professionals from various parts of the Western Region, such as Jeddah, Makkah, Abha, Al Baja, Taif and Yanbu, Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia
The registration team started at 8:50am for the part I of the program and an invocation was led by Mr. Rafael Ramirez to ask for blessings and guidance for the activity. Engr. Lambert Reyes Jr. (IECEP- WRC President 2017) presented the Annual Report Activities of IECEP-WRC KSA for Year 2017. He mentioned the activities and achievements of the organization such as the collaboration with the PPO (Philippine Professional Organization) during the PRC Special Program Licensure Examination last Sept. 1-3, 2017, were the IECEP-WRC delegates are responsible for the electronic registration thru QR code. Facilitate giving of goods for the distressed OFW at Saudi Oger compound. He highlighted the preparation and compilation of professional upgrades for Associate Asean Engineer and PECE. Also, the participation of the 6 IECEP-WRC delegates to 4th GCC Summit Dubai, UAE.
Afterwards, Engr. Reyes together with Ma’am Veronica Filipinas Saha (PPO WRSA President 2017) our guest of honor awarded the Outstanding Service Awards for the dedicated Officers and committees of IECEP-WRC 2017 and the most outstanding member award to Engr. Melvin Rama for his excellent and relentless contribution to the organization. Ma’am Veronica Filipinas Saha stand up for her inspirational and inspiring message to everyone. She expressed her congratulation and how she was so proud to IECEP-WRC KSA for getting the 1st runner up of Most Outstanding Foreign Chapter 2017. Followed by the acknowledgement of new sets of IECEP-WRC officers for 2018 announced by the president of the organization and a short and inspiring message was made from New IECEP-WRC 2018 President Engr. Rey Guban Jr. “One for all, all for one in brothers in IECEP-WRC KSA”, words that truly inspires everyone to love the organization more and reminded the participants to encourage more ECEs to be a member of the organization.
The part II of the program activity was the Technical Seminar Entitled: “HVAC Building Management System “by the respected and honorable speaker from Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers and currently PPO WRSA Vice President, Engr. Joey S. Salalila, PME.
He discussed the HVAC BMS otherwise known as building automation system, a computer-based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lightning, power system, fire system and security systems.
It consists of software’s and hardware’s, were software program usually configured in a hierarchical manner. BMS is an intelligent solution and provide life cycle support for facilities, making it easier to increase comfort, safety and security for the occupants.
Everyone is interested to the topic and lots of clarifications have been discussed, at 4:15pm recognition and distribution of plaque to Engr. Joey S. Salalila, PME, and distribution of certificates to the participants. The 7th technical seminar and the last technical seminar of IECEP-WRC this 2017 has 8CPD points, a total of 52 CPD points implemented for this year.
