67th AGM IECEP NATIONAL & PECE/ASEAN Writeshop

The 67th AGM of IECEP National Live Streaming was a success!

The dedicated IECEP-Western Region Chapter Saudi Arabia conducted its 6th technical semina r in collaboration to IECEP National Convention on its 67th Annual General Membership Meeting via You-tube Live streaming last November 24, 2017 at Subic Bay, Philippines. Our venue at the Sky Lounge Avenue Building, Tahliah Street, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Attended by 25 Electronic Engineering Professionals from various parts of the Western Region, such as Jeddah, Makkah, Abha, Al Baja, Taif and Yanbu, Jeddah City, Saudi Arabia.

We started the registration around 7:30am while watching the seminar online via YOUTUBE live. Whereas, various IECEP in national and international chapters are viewing the event. The speakers are great with their specialization and very professional to their topics. Most of the topics are interesting and advanced electronic innovation reality.   Through the ‘theme “Enhancing Capability of Globally Competitive Electronics Engineers”.

However, at 11:30am in the morning we conducted PECE and ASEAN write-shop to the attendees were the respected speakers are Engr. Lambert Reyes (IECEP-WRC President 2017) and Engr. James Sumagaysay (IECEP- WRC VP-external). On the first phase of write-shop, Engr. Lambert Reyes discussed the PECE professional upgrade to 10 aspirants.  He showed to them the finished compilation file of PECE requirements and explained its contents. To become PECE it must have 7 years work experience engineering after passing the ECE Licensure Exam. At 12:30pm noon we ate our lunch meal and different variety of food has been serve. Chef Jo, mentioned that he made special to us because we are his first customer to the venue.

We continue our write-shop at 1:15pm were Engr. James Sumagaysay discussed the ASEAN Engineer Professional Upgrade registry. He encourage the aspirants that being ASEAN Engineer it can promote cultural and professional links among members of engineering profession within ASEAN countries. Bigger opportunities on market expertise, better salary employment prospects and greater avenue for sharing of knowledge and specialization. With or without professional license, Associate ASEAN Engineer is an edge for at least 7 years work experience of engineering.
